My new-to-me 1999 Chris Craft will be ready for pickup this Saturday morning. I was planning to drive it around from the broker's marina to the dock space I rent and spend the weekend getting to know the boat.
The layout of my bulkhead makes mooring whips mandatory and I ordered a set of Taylor MW 140's last Tuesday, as soon as I knew the deal was "final". I also paid for expedited delivery. I found out yesterday that I won't have them until next Tuesday. I 've called everywhere, but nobody stocks them for immediate shipment (including iBoats).
A three day weekend down the drain. Dang it!
