So many views, and I'm the first reply.
Must be 16 repubs that didn't find it funny but couldn't argue the points either.

Agreed with many, disagreed a with a few, but unfortunately there's great truth in all.

"Plug is in" and I escaped.

Don't need to troll when the truth is behind the rhetoric.

Since we've lost our common sense, let's go for the HATE..

I am not a Republican, so maybe I can respond . . . "Fish on!"

BLIND FAITH IN BAD LEADERSHIP IS NOT PATRIOTISM

True. Who are you blindly following?

IF YOU'RE NOT OUTRAGED, YOU'RE NOT PAYING ATTENTION

I am outraged that Israel agreed to back-off. I am outraged that that there are so many evil people that want to kill me. I am outraged that some don't see where the real threats are and instead blame this country and its President.

IF YOU SUPPORTED BUSH, A YELLOW RIBBON WON'T MAKE UP FOR IT

How about "Your welcome"?

POVERTY, HEALTH CARE & HOMELESSNESS ARE MORAL ISSUES

OK, thank you for acknowledging morality as a guide.

EXCUSE ME......OF COURSE IT HURTS. YOU'RE GETTING SCREWED BY AN ELEPHANT

Yes, the Democrats get their talking points from comedians

RELIGIOUS FUNDAMENTALISM: A THREAT ABROAD, A THREAT AT HOME

To equate the two indicates how twisted some people are. Please indicate how you compare beheadings, plane destruction, suicide bombings and using human shields with Bible thumpers.

GOD BLESS EVERYONE (No exceptions, please)

Which is it? Are you in or out?

BUSH SPENT YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY ON HIS WAR. FEEL SAFER NOW?

Yes.

I'D RATHER HAVE A PRESIDENT WHO SCREWED HIS INTERN THAN ONE WHO SCREWED HIS COUNTRY

Agreed. How have you been screwed?

IS IT 2008 YET?

No

DISSENT IS THE HIGHEST FORM OF PATRIOTISM -- Thomas Jefferson

Good guy. I agree. Who has squelched your dissent?

DON'T BLAME ME. I VOTED AGAINST BUSH -- TWICE!

You can blame me then, it's OK

ANNOY A CONSERVATIVE - THINK FOR YOURSELF

Bwahahahahahaha

GEORGE W. BUSH: MAKING TERRORISTS FASTER THAN HE CAN KILL THEM

How do you make someone who blows themself up at a Wedding?

DEMOCRATS ARE SEXY-- WHOEVER HEARD OF A GOOD PIECE OF ELEPHANT?

Another elephant?

DON'T CONFUSE DYING FOR OIL WITH FIGHTING FOR FREEDOM

Thanks, I don't.

STEM CELL RESEARCH IS PRO-LIFE

and is not prevented, prohibited or illegal

HONOR OUR TROOPS - DEMAND THE TRUTH

About what? The tally of who voted to enter Iraq?

REBUILD IRAQ? WHY NOT SPEND 87 BILLION ON AMERICA?

We have.

FACT: BUSH OIL
1999 - $19 BARREL
2006 - $70 BARREL

Where is that Bush oil station? They're just never around when I need one

THE LAST TIME RELIGION CONTROLLED POLITICS, PEOPLE GOT BURNED AT THE STAKE

The last time that religion controlled politics was when the UN sided with Hezbollah.

Re: Bumper Stickers - Not for Republicans

I enjoy good humor and several are funny, but not much truth to them. Unless you are wearing the official democratic party funded and developed by the mass media "I hate GWB glasses".

Funny thing is, you could nail him on immigration and border security, yet none make fun of that.

QC, although I would like to poke at several of your statements, I won't. Just to much typing involved to get caught up.

I would like to ask just one question. You truly and honestly feel safer today than you did 8 years ago?

Re: Bumper Stickers - Not for Republicans

CJY, actually, I do feel safer than eight years ago.

I now know much more about the threats I face in this country and the world in general. I know more about what a number of agencies are doing to safeguard me from domestic and foreign terrorists. I have many more options in terms of responses to potential terrorist actions. I have learned to be much more careful in certain situations when traveling.

All in all, I'm more aware, so I feel that I'm safer. Are there things/actions/people threatening me that I don't presume to understand, you betcha. On the other hand, I know more and presume less.

Do I enjoy the heightened sense of being alert and aware of my surroundings, not at all. Nevertheless, I'm willing to pay that price in order to do my part in keeping my community, nation and world as stable as possible.

Re: Bumper Stickers - Not for Republicans

I understand what you are saying Bob.

For myself though, I would use your same arguments to defend my position on not feeling safer today than the past.

I will not assume that I lived in ignorance 8 years ago, which is what I believe you may be doing. I guess I am not sure there were as many people then as there are now that would like to see the US destroyed. I know there were some, but the numbers today appear to be so much greater. Even if the numbers of our enemy, then and now, are equal, those wishing us harm today, appear to be going to greater lengths to inflict harm upon us. Middle Easterners burning US flags back in the 70's, 80's and 90's never scared me. Middle Easterners boarding planes with the mindset to blow it up scares the he77 out of me. Protesting the US has taken on a new level of hatred. I guess I believe those with hatred toward the US are becoming more and more willing to inlict their hatred upon us. Burning our flag is no longer good enough for them. I absolutely feel less safe today than I did 10 years ago.
