This is a great thread. The only "treasures" I've ever found upon disassembly/deconstruction of a boat were tools. Nice Craftsman 9/16th box wrench, crescent wrench, a few screwdrivers and lots of drill bits and even an air chuck. Makes me wonder about the stories I heard as a kid about disgruntled automotive assembly line workers hanging wrenches in the body cavities of cars to aggravate the new owners and dealerships trying to diagnose unexplainable noises. I wonder how many tools over the years have been lost in the manufacture of new boats.

Here is a pic of a old hammer that was left under the starboard storage box. It has been there long enough that one of the claws was complete rusted off..

Holy crap. That hammer lived in there for a LONG time!
