This is a great thread. The only "treasures" I've ever found upon disassembly/deconstruction of a boat were tools. Nice Craftsman 9/16th box wrench, crescent wrench, a few screwdrivers and lots of drill bits and even an air chuck. Makes me wonder about the stories I heard as a kid about disgruntled automotive assembly line workers hanging wrenches in the body cavities of cars to aggravate the new owners and dealerships trying to diagnose unexplainable noises. I wonder how many tools over the years have been lost in the manufacture of new boats.
