Why is it that during the mid term elections I heard, everyday, I mean everyday about President Bush's approval numbers. Yet I haven't heard anything about them since? What was up with that. He wasn't up for election, why the wall to wall coverage, editorials, zogby on every channel, and now zilch?

I predicted this BTW....

Hmmmmm...Maybe because the Democratically controlled Congress has a lower rating?

Re: Bush Approval Numbers

Isn't that what all second term Presidents are called?

Yup: Eric they are at some point.

The MSM can drive the experts on homosexuality n' victimhood, (n' some of the rest of the folks too), into a depressed mood by emphasizing constant negative garbage about us and helping our enemies beat us by talking some of us into actually beating ourselves. That said: they aren't good enough to make the rifle shot to blame all the problems on one person, (not that they don't try), so it's kinda natural the dirty stuff might stick to the real culprits workin' with our enemies to bring us down: (Congress).

At some point the rubber, (not Froggie) will meet the road. Some amoung us will ponder out loud some of the ol' questions.

#1 Is Pres. Bush, VP Cheney that "INCOMPETENT" or did they actually prosecute a fairly decent war? It takes only one brain cell to ponder this, (as I can say from experience). Think of any war in the history of planet earth where the initiating side was on the battle field for five full years and lost less the 4,000 soldiers dead? I'm waiting fer yer list, BTW!

#2 Is this war similar to all the previous wars we have faught in the last 300 years or is cornventional wisdom that the MSM and our enemies within' use to bring us down and criticize our leaders about this war nearly worthless? Hint: ponder the 'we should drop everything and dump all our resources into Afganistan'; or: 'we should be corncentrating on catching OBL'.

#3 Is it real important to have a deadline to end this war, (kinda like a football, or basketball game), and if we don't feel real good about ourselves at some arbitrary point that helps our enemies we take our marbles, (or in this case our soldiers) and go home n' cry n' pout n' elect a bushel of yellow bellied back stabbin' Democrats to really distroy the American dream and make us feel better? Hint: even totally unimportant PC wars against the UN mandate, (like the Balkins), we still have troops envolved ten years later. How 'bout Korea, Japan n' Germany? Is this war really that unimportant? Stay tuned!!

#4 Is this actually just a "bumber sticker" n' not a real war, as that wonderfull fella John Edwards with the purdy hair tells me? In fact I think I heard Senator Jim Webb make the same point Sunday mornin', SHAZAM!!! Hint: Ya know Mildred, the answer to this question will be real apparent in due time.

Maybe it's time to ponder these questions, eh Mrs. Jones? JR

They don't report it anymore because the basement is the basement. If it rises above the basement, you'll hear about it. Otherwise it's just so much repetition.

I don't agree: Willy! (I know shocking isn't it?) It does not serve the adjenda of the MSM Liberals n' their pals: the Democrats. It would remind all of us how horrible n' double dealing our Senators n' Congresspeople are. After all the economy is nearly as good as it ever gets, (no thanks to Democrats who wanted to raise NOT lower yer taxes: Willy) n' as I stated this has been a relatively benign war with very little sacrifice from most of us, (other then our precious soldiers; God bless them). So the MSM, (yer editors: Willy) only emphasize n' report the news that serves them. Not the Fox news "WE REPORT YOU DECIDE", that you find soooooo distastefull. Respectfully, JR

Them numbers will be easy to bring up; all we have to do is Impeach President Bush/Cheney. Them numbers would sore thru the roof. They tried to impeach President Clinton for having consensual sex, seems that they have a better case with this President.

All the Democrats would have to do is find a couple of hypocrites to lead the charge like Henry (?youthful indiscretions?) Hyde, and Newt Gingrich, who admitted in an interview on Focus on the Family that he had an extramarital affair even while he was leading the charge to have President Clinton impeached. Might be hard to find anybody that are any bigger hypocrites than those two, but we can make do .:D
