BUT, YOU CANNOT PULL A BOAT TRAILER WITH ANY OF THEM.

Seriously, you cannot go wrong with any of your picks. I just hope you're not young, have a good FICO score and a good driving record--insurance rates can be a ***** on any such cars.
'
I would lean toward the Coyote V8 Mustang, however.

It's hard to imagine that the same engine in a F150 is out classed by a V6 with a supercharger--supposedly fabulous engine/vehicle combination.

My last car was a supercharged V6 and it was downright scary...nothing compared to the numbers we are talking about here but still fast. After owning a supercharged car, my opinion is every car should have one. Same mileage as the normally aspirated v6 but performance to beat the band. I'm not suprised at all that superchargers and turbo chargers are becoming more mainstream. At least from my 5 or so years of owning, there was all upside and zero downside. Take off was of course quick but where you really notice it is mid range when a lot of cars struggle. A normal, casual pass of a car in front of you, you'd exceed 100mph without any sort of effort. To be honest, when I sold it, I could almost breath a sigh of relief. I suppose the one downside is if you have the power you are going to use it whether you realize it or not.

I always liked the old GT's and LX's but the interiors were just awful even back 20 years ago. Funny how every v6 has at least 225hp now but they don't move like those old Mustangs. Was the torque higher than 225? xxxflhrci, you must be in a nice southern state otherwise your Mustang would have started rusting by now even if stored in your living room if you were in a northern state.

Yeah, the velour seats are something else...Torque is rated at 300...I live in border line state. We get snow and get salted roads. I just never drove the Mustang on salty roads. Matter of fact, I have what some call a small "fleet", but only drive one vehicle in the snow/salt. However, lots of washings has held the rust off. I bought it new in 1994 and have zero rust.

300lbs with a car that light, now I see. I had a v6 car a couple years back with 240 hp and 280 tq and that really moved but sadly was fwd and really a waste of performance.
I saw my first 1991 5.0 in a long time the other day. They bring back great memories but they have mosly all rusted away years back. Cars, even meticulously washed and maintained here will start to rust in as few as 3 years in seams on body panels.

Either of the choices mentioned will bring joy to any driver, I love the badge removal too. I would be interested in what the insurance cost is on these cars/assuming you use them as part time drivers I bet it isnt too bad.
I want the new Vette, did you get to drive one while at the dealership?

AHHHH the Vettes.. Didn't drive one.. Got in kind of a hurry to get all my car driving in for the day.. I had to make a deal somewhere and that meant I had to find it.. The Vettes are inside and looked to be a PITA to get out.. Still I loved doors.. Seems like they have shaved a lot of the options of of them to make em affordableish... No nav or any of the cool electronic stuff like you would expect on one..

I snaped some shots of the new badges.. Super cool..
Now maybe the Cameros will run it.. They wouldn't even try before.. Can't wait for the v6 boys to line up with me.. With the stock exaust.. It sounds quiet.. They won't know tell I launch with them
Only guy who even wanted to go when I had the 5.0 still on it had a GT500 with a procharger sticker on the side.. Glad I saved the 30k.. When and if I get the engine blown.. It should be able to run with those too... Anyhow I have yet to have a race(as if I need one).. I guess I am too old.. I woulda loved to of had this car when I was 21..

He posted the time slips, but those times are pretty hard to believe. I've run highet RWHP, lighter cars that wouldn't push 10's. I think that rousch charger is rated to about 545. Tempting.

They are pulling hi 8's and low 9's with a blower, lower gears and a wet shot of NOS.. That is crazy.. This engine is awesome..
