Buying a new motor yacht?

Hi there,<br /><br />I'm a beginner in motorboating. I wonder what is the main concern when buying a new motor yacht? It's different in location? or mostly the same in price, salesperson, style, function, interior or engine hp?<br /><br />I need people's suggestion, thank you so much!

For example, how about have a 75 ft at Miami or Fort Lauderdale?<br /><br />Somebody can suggest me what is the ideal engine hp, standard equipment & price range? and what's the must equipped at the SE coast?<br /><br />My friend invite me to see some Taiwan Yacht, but there're all customised. Also, it's better have a large sundeck in bow or require a comfort flybridge?<br /><br />Do you think the cheap Taiwan Yacht is a good choice?

You're not looking at a 48 ft Cheoy Lee in Ft Lauderdale are you? I've already had that surveyed.

George, I hope you have a spare 500,000 for a quality vesel, or a spare 450,000 for repairs and up keep on a cheaper one.

Might be, yes. Is not biggest concern for buying new motor yacht salesperson or style? Money not important. Me have PLENTY MUCHO. Why you have such small boats??

George, couple of questions if I may.<br /><br />Do you have a range of a budget?<br /><br />Do you have a family that you may want to sleep aboard? 2, 4, or 6?<br /><br />Do you want to pretty much keep the boat dockside or do you have some trips in mind?

Yes, it's a sport fisher. This boat was neglected by lack of use. The diesel fuel was so bad the boat could not even get up to speed. After fixing that problem, it was determined that the one engine needed to be rebuilt. I believe it's still on the market but the price is much lower this month.
