This site http://www.edsmarinesuperstore.com./ was mentioned in several posts. Do they sell & ship motors to other parts of the country? Anybody bought from them?
I've never bought from them but have swapped e-mails. They do ship to other parts of the country. They couldn't ship me the current year (2002) outboards. They could sell/ship 2001's to me though.

I contacted them about a year ago inquiring.<br /><br />They told me that the OEM's have restricted them to selling past year engines only, out of state.<br /><br />I would buy locally unless you feel you are competent to do all of your own rigging and repairs-including warranty.
