Buying another boat

I have had my eye out for a good river boat for Salmon and Steelhead fishing in some of the rivers local to me. I think I've settled on the boat I'm buying. I'm going out fishing with the owner after the holidays to give it a good run and look it over and if all looks good she's mine.<br /><br />

Is that rated at 50hp with a prop or jet pump? If it's with a prop it's under powered, that's only 35hp or so with a pump, you may not be able to easily get up on plane with with a buddy or 2 and your gear. If it's rated with a pump then it will be OK, but still a long way from being over powered. It does look like a nice boat though.
