Buying the basics..

I just bought my VHF radio and 8' Antenna off of e-Bay for $126.20 total.
I just found on a wholesale web site my Stereo/CD player package and antenna for $105.00 total. So far I figure I've saved around $350.00 or so just on these two packages.

Now it's off to the search for the other electronics for my retirement project.

Just a word of caution, especially with antennas, you get what you pay for. Just be mindful.

But nice job saving some dough, that's a lot a bait and fuel you can buy with a few hundred bucks.
