Calibrating LUND trim gauge

Is there anyway to calibrate the oem trim gauge ? It is way off.. Tired of turning around & looking at the trim all the time..
Thanks for any ideas . ;)

Searching around more on the internet I found this BUT it was a reply for someone elses 99 225 Optimax...I have the lil 2000 135 Opti. When I get home this week, I will look up the part to see what it looks like & see if it is the same procedure. I will post my results so we all know !
"Raise your motor full up. Your trim sender is on the port side, top, of the transom bracket and is held in place by two screws. Carefully loosen these screws and rotate sender. If your gauge isn't reading down enough then rotate sender CW.

This is exactly correct. Not like it was a big deal not to have a trim gauge that actually worked.... But it is perfect now. Glad I was able to fix this with a phillips screwdriver !!! :rolleyes:
