Having said that, I keep find myself in the boat section of ebay motors searching for the keywords "project", "soft floor" and "rot". After each grinding session, I find myself searching for the keyword "aluminum"....

Whats wrong with Bayliner, Their easy to take apart.-considering them boats are hardly put together in the first place...

I actually meant that before I was given this boat, I wouldn't have considered a project boat. Now I have visions of owning some awesome, high end boat that I get for next to nothing, because of "one soft spot in the floor". But I totally agree, Bayliner made it easy, rotten boats are WAY easier to take apart than solid ones. And prying off big sheets of their sprayed on tabbing is much better than grinding! The itching stinks, but it does help you bond with the boat....at least that's what I keep telling myself....

With my iPhone I use the cPro Craigslist app. It works pretty good with notifications and saved searches. However it does crash a bit much.

mx if you weren't all the way over on the other side of the country I would have the perfect free project boat for ya ... Heck I would even deliver it to ya ..
All it needs is transom ,stringers ,deck , motor with controls , steering , seats , and a trailer ... Might need a paint job too if you want it to be pretty .
