I promise you, I wouldn't be working on a Bayliner if it hadn't been given to me. Having said that, I keep find myself in the boat section of ebay motors searching for the keywords "project", "soft floor" and "rot". After each grinding session, I find myself searching for the keyword "aluminum"....

Whats wrong with Bayliner, Their easy to take apart.-considering them boats are hardly put together in the first place...

I actually meant that before I was given this boat, I wouldn't have considered a project boat. Now I have visions of owning some awesome, high end boat that I get for next to nothing, because of "one soft spot in the floor". But I totally agree, Bayliner made it easy, rotten boats are WAY easier to take apart than solid ones. :) And prying off big sheets of their sprayed on tabbing is much better than grinding! The itching stinks, but it does help you bond with the boat....at least that's what I keep telling myself....;)

With my iPhone I use the cPro Craigslist app. It works pretty good with notifications and saved searches. However it does crash a bit much.

mx if you weren't all the way over on the other side of the country I would have the perfect free project boat for ya ... Heck I would even deliver it to ya ..
All it needs is transom ,stringers ,deck , motor with controls , steering , seats , and a trailer ... Might need a paint job too if you want it to be pretty .:D
