It was a problem here with duck farms THERE ALL in wetlands that feed into the bays

You can pretty much figure out how much duck poo was getting into the shellfish beds

One to many of the famous got hepatitis and that was pretty much it for duck farms dumping right into the bay

Pony, my grandfathers farm was 5 miles north of Medford, just three miles from where I now live. My great-grandfathers farm was another half mile further. And my great-great-grandfathers farm was across the street. Homesteaded in the 1870's when the railroad came in.

My uncles farm is 6 miles south of me. And my other grandfather's farm ( now owned by my cousin ) is 7 miles south of me.

One of the reasons I moved here was because of my relatives in the area and my familiarity with the region. I also was told I could buy 10 acres of grandpa's farm to build a house on, but my uncle screwed me out of that deal, against grand dads wishes. :|

OK guys, carry on the good fight.

One of the benefits of living in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Wisconsin, is that they really do take care of our waters.
