I'm in North Bay, ON and we mostly boat on Trout Lake, gonna try Nipissing this year.
Our summer trailer boat trip this year is to Orillia to do part of the Trent/Lake Couch and Simcoe. We are gonna stay at the Couchiching Inn and dock at Hot Knots or see what the prices are like at the Fern? resort.

Greg

We keep our 35' Thundercraft on Lake Couchiching at Ojibway Bay Marina, right around the corner from Casino Rama, usually alternate trips each year, up into Georgian Bay and down the Trent to Lakefield or Peterborough. Otherwise can floating around on Couch or Lake Simcoe.

I boat on the trent from Lock45 in Port Severn and go up Big chute to Swift Rapids and into Sparrow lake on occassion, or go down into Georgian Bay and Play around at some of the many sandy beach islands such as Giants Tomb, Sometimes I boat Lake Ontario also, but only if I feel like trailering the boat back home, has some already know I run a Wellcraft 196 Eclipse ( its blue and white ) and has Thru Hull exhaust and most of the time has My wife and 2 girls aboard they're 6 and 8, I'm not allowed to disclose the wife's age, I'm 39 , we can be found on the water almost every weekend and about 3 weeks over July and August.

I wish I was in Ontario, you guys have thousands of lakes to choose from. Out here in Alberta all we have are oversized sloughs full of leeches and swimmers ick.

I am in New Brunswick on the beautifull Saint John River. Plenty of bass fishing and fun opportunities on this river system. I wish I could get up to Ontario and visit sometime as you seem to have some fun spots too. :)

I'm from the Montreal area. Lots of rivers and lakes as part of the seaway around us. My parents also have a cottage near the Quebec-Vermont border on Lake Champlain where we do some boating, tubing, and fishing.

My favorite fishing holes are 4-5 hours north of us in parc la Verendrye.

Re: Calling all Canadian Boaters!!!

Hi to every one reading this fantastic forum.I am from alberta, and i just came back from a three day fishing trip at lesser slave lake, came home with walleye that measured as mutch as 24 to 29 inches. This is quite a large leach in this over size slough, as( JIMMBO ) calls our lakes.(JIMMBO) just drive out of Edmonton and i am sur you will finde manny nice lakes, lesser slave measures roughley 10 miles wide by 70 miles long, water depth is up to 30 feet in some places. Now i call this a fair sized slough, thanks to all . i too am from edmonton, i just bought an old glastron fibreglass and old 50 hp merc. I usually go to slave lake 2-3 times per year with my father and stay at norms walleye camp. Yes, by far it is the best walleye fishing in northern ab that is not too far to drive or fly-in. I also have a lot of luck at beaver lake near lac la biche.
