Re: Calling all Canadian Boaters!!!

My buddy and I trailer a 16' fibreglass bowrider out of Deseronto for personal scuba diving trips. Mostly we hit Lake Ontario in the Kingston area and into the St. Laurence as far as Cornwall, have travelled into Lake Scugogup and up to Tobermory (Lake Huron/Georgian Bay) as well. It feels like the king of the world piloting our little boat on plane!

Hey by the way fellow Canadians, my boat is a fibreglass built by Canada Boats (a division of Alcan) back in the seventies when Alcan briefly dabbled in the fibreglass boat business. Does anyone know where I can dig up some technical specs? There isn't a load plate or anything on the hull.

We're in Cobourg and spend most of our time on the Otonabee.

Hey Steam-Mill, I'm just upriver from you on Rice Lake. We often cruise up the lake into Hastings but have not plucked up courage to go through the lock yet. Maybe next year! Beautiful country around here, eh?;)
