My boat is coming along,I cant wait to get to calville to catch the boils.Been a while since i was there,last time i was there was when the WON BASS toury was there and i was just trying to fix up my boat while they all drove past for a great fishin trip.

Elevation is climbing fast, and no wonder - look at the outflow at the dam..

Yeah, looks like some of that was planned per the "Schedule". But I am guessing this early winter storm and the associated temperature drop has dropped electricity demand dramatically.

Lake Mohave has been drawn down this time of year for as long as I can remember, ramp maintenance and such. Going up into black canyon is trickier due to the lower water level, especially at Ringbolt rapids.

oh ya! bought at family dollar for cheap,sweep it up and throw the mop to it and its shiny,i also have a few rugs that i throw down for the heat and comfort to dog,this boat is a swap meet yard sale boat with all the extras,fishermans dream,dont let the look fool ya its seriously powered and has a trolling mtr of mens dreams and fish finder of down d.i, shows ur lure the whole time.my dog and me love it,we going to calville in morning to test run once again.remember i made the whole layout by hand including the console and all hardware.Its not too pretty but it will never let you down.and i mean never!!

Looks like a rig you could do charter fishing with. Looks real comfortable for fishing.

Made it back from the lake,the water is so high and theres so much structure to fish now.Had to look a little harder to find a sandy beach to pull up on for dog though.The shoreline is caving in around the sandy banks areas,i saw two big pieces break off into the water today.be careful and dont put your boat near these things unless you like your boat full of dirt.The water was 74 degrees and we mostly cruised around a 120ft deep water line but it went to 190ft just outside the calville bay marina.The dog had too much fun,even a stand off with a roadrunner that never went to running speed.I wondered who was faster.The boat has a slow leak by the bow rivets that ill be fixing next days off.Had a great time, enjoy the photos.

It seems strange to see the lake reclaiming the shoreline so fast that it looks like flood water rising...BTW..the dog is faster

I thought she would be able to catch it,so i held her back! I was thinking about the cartoon though and wondered if the roadrunner was really that fast,can they fly i thought if it got ugly.I never seen one fly before.Nor have i seen one high tale it if it came down to it.

Just want to vent a little, Im so tired of people saying Lake mead sucks right. Like im workin or at a place of interest and we talk about lures so on, then they say where do you fish? I respond Lake mead of course. Then come the ugly eyes or dirty water feelings as they know them.Oh Lake mead sucks. water is dirty and mob dumped bodies there. Whatever! i just want to punch there face then. AHH!! I feel better.

Thanks for the kind offer. I should have my funds clear by the end of the month so new boat will be bought either the last week of Oct or first week of Nov. No worries, I waited this long another couple weeks wont make a difference.

Trying hard to get some advice over in the OMC forum. Wife and I plan to spend our 30th on the lake with the boat that I bought in May and have spent all summer rebuilding.

If I can't get the fuel problem figured out, I'll get some really big oars and some of my son's friends from the gym!
