It appears that all these years I am not the only person with grand designs on inflatable boating in Jamaica Bay. So... I propose maybe we can do something like a meet-up/ raft-up. If there are any others that frequent Jamaica Bay and would be interested, this thread would be a good place to post it. Thinking maybe with a little back and forth conversation we can figure out a day when a few (or more) people can make it. That would be pretty cool. So, if you are interested. I'm guessing Name, Days/ Times you'd prefer and we go from there.
Thinking maybe a fishing day, or just a bay cruise to get people familiar (I still get lost) or just a play it by ear, exchange of info type of day... Hell... do em all!!! This could be cool.
I'll start:
1) Al (aka Sinistre1)/ Sat and Sun are best for me but every other Fri works too. Mornings through late afternoons Mercury Quicksilver 340s and Saturn 365 both run on 15hp Johnson outboard (Mercury has since been sold!)
2) Weimed- Zodiac Zoom 350s 6hp Mercury and 15hp Mercury
3) Smashed- Saturn 430 (14ft), Tohatsu 9.8 outboard
4) MaaxK- Zodiac Zoom 340 and 15hp yamaha and Avon 400 w 15hp Yamaha
5) Fedor- Saturn 365 and Mariner 15 hp outboard
6) PGNYC- Azzuro Mare (Saturn upgrade) and Tohatsu 9.8 outboard
