I have a 1991 Suzuki 150ss and it runs very well till my last trip. Took it to lake Fork and got of my trailor and noticed that the engine sounded a little funny. It was not wanting to idle very well so I let it warm up a little and everything seemed fine. Then I took off and the boat would not plane at all. I shut her down and pulled the cowling off and noticed the right side head was cold while the left side was hot. I guess the right side was not firing. So I decied to drop the trolling motor and fish by the ramp. About and hour later I started the engine to put it back on the trailor and head on home and on my way back to the boat I could tell that the engine started to run fine. I turned around and floored it and it jumper right on plane and ran great. I still put the boat up because I did not want to hurt anything. Any ideas of what could be the problem and have any rough estimates of what I am looking at spending to get fixed? I have it at my mechanics right now but it will be at least 2 weeks before they can even look at it. Thanks in advance for your help.

beats me. if one bank was cold it could be a loss of spark on that bank, usually that would be a CDI or stator. however if its working when they test it most likly they will say all is normal.
if its all working as designed when you hook up your test equipment it always shows its ok.
the only way to find it is looking at it while its broke.
