Camper top

I have a 1986 29 foot Cruisers Elegante with the original camper enclosure. It has the maroon camper top, I am repainting the boat white with red trim, the boat originally had maroon trim but I would like something brighter.

I am not sure if the camper top is sunbrella or not, I don't see any tags identifying it, but is it possible to dye these fabrics?????

I would be concerned about bleed, waterproof and fading from UV. Incorporate an accent stripe of maroon so you don't have to worry about mismatched reds.

i have spray painted several, to match the boat.
