Can 2 onboard chargers run off one 110v plug?

I have a 10 amp dual charger for my 24v trolling motor deep cycle batteries. Then I got a 1.5 amp single charger on my starter battery. I was wondering if I can splice them both into one flush mount plug terminal? This way I would only have to run one extension cord for both chargers to get power and all three batteries get charged.

I would say yes for the most part. Not knowing what input amp draw of your 24V charger would be the only variable. Most 10 amp 12/24 volt charger only draw 3 to 4 amps. If this is the same for you it will be fine. The standard low end extension cord will handle 15 amps so you will be more then OK. If your 24V charger draws much more (check the labels) then use it accordingly.

Don't chop up your charger's cords. Get an extension cord with at least two outlets like this one

Yes, you can run both chargers off this power inlet.

Yup I am putting on a flush mount but I think I will pick up one of those three way shortiesimage.jpg. That way I only have to chop the plug end of the three way splitter and replace it with the flush mount. I can then just plug the two chargers into the splitter. Thanks again folks. It still amazes me how helpful people are on here.

After thinking about it,I think it would make a much neater looking installation to add a dedicated buss bar, wired to your plug on the hull, then the chargers wired to that.and the buss must have a cover. I'd even go as far as adding a circuit breaker for safety. A small panel with a breaker attached isn't to expensive, and makes it safe. I know when I see plugs hanging in a boat/bilge area it creeps me out. What you are doing is actually adding shore power.

110 VAC Buss Bar even enclosed in a boat gives me the shakes. I do like the idea of breakers or fuses in line for protection so long as all of this is not in the engine compartment. Get a plastic outdoor junction box from Lowes, drill holes for fuses

It's done all the time. As long as its abyc compliant it's fine.
