I like those old ACs, Caveman. And the simple starting solution with your original magneto is great. My Fergie still has her 6 volt starter which is fine, you just have to make sure you don't crank for more than a few seconds at a time or stuff starts to smell funny!

Yup, I don't think you can even get a 12 volt starter for a lot of these old girls.
