Can anyone help identify my motor believed to be mercruiser 1970

I was told this is a mercruiser however I cannot find a valve cover gasket to fit this little thing. four cylinder, total of eight valve cover bolts, four on both sides. any help is appreciated!

A picture of the outdrive would help, if you have or can get one. MerCruiser's are usually black in color.
