As you can see by my profile name I’m taking a stab in the dark that it might be a 42. The boat was purchased used by my grandfather in the mid 50s. Clyde is the manufacturer and the hull number is 10071. It is 14 feet long with a beem of 63 inches. The hull is made of molded plywood about 3/8 inch thick. It was originally built as a tiller steer but was converted with an extension to the bow cover ,dashboard and cable stering sometime befour it came into my grandfathers possession. I have tried to do some resurch but didnt come up with much. I have seen pictures of Clydes from many different years and mine seems very rudimentary compared to others i have seen. Any help would be appreciated.
