My granddad fought in WWII and Korea. He had this bell at his house and when he passed, My dad got it. My grandmother thinks he got it in Japan but we have no history on it. There are no markings that i can find. It is brass. If you have any idea of who made it and what it might have been used for, it would be greatly appreciated. Dont care if it is a barn bell, dinner bell or just a tourist thing, just trying to see what it is and who made it.

Would be cool if it was on a captains barge used by the coxwain to signal the engineman what to do. No markings, could be a dinner bell for ranch hands.
