Should have good get up and go; the 4.3 should be around 190-210hp. How it rides depends on the water you'll be using it on; I wouldn't suggest water with 4-6 footers!
If it isn't local, I'd try to find a local one to test drive, or find someone in the area with the same model, throw 'em some gas money for a few minutes on the water with them.
Value is whatever you're willing to pay.
