Kiefer, look in the section 'Nothing to do with boats' and follow the instructions from 'Combee' regarding posting pictures. It worked out nicely! <br />

mine is dead!send her this way . i will put her on my boat in the middle of lake michigan. all she has to do is gun it and the transom will tear off and no more mother in law~! :D <br />just trying to help!!!!!!!

Too bad your not closer down this way. Theres a guy here that can rebuild your transom for around $600. I've used him several times was always well pleased with his work. Now I've seen him charge as much as $1200 if he had to go into the stringers and replace sections of them also.

Any of you guys familiar with a tv show called "Ship Shape TV"? It used to be on Speedvision, and also appears on PBS.<br />There are I believe 2 episodes that show in very good detail how to replace a rotten transom. The episodes are available on tape, too.<br />Try http://www.shipshapetv.com <br />I miss not seeing it anymore. It covered a lot of good area's.
