I have my deck ready to be fiberglassed and i was wondering if i could do it tommorow. I live in SC and its going to be a high of around 63 tommorow afternoon. If i do it will it have time to set before the temp drops.

Re: Can I fiberglass my deck in 60degree weather?

I am no expert, but I was doing some patch work yesterday here in NC with no problems. I am in a garage with a small heater though. It was 52 degrees when I turned the heater on, my target temp. was 65 degrees. I reached 63 and started working. I had to vent some vapors and the temp. dropped to 55, but the resin was starting to set up. Just be sure to use the proper amount of hardener.

Oh yeah 60 degrees is fine. I laid all my fiberglass in a heater section of the barn which was 50-60f

The resin will take a little while to harden up but not a drastic difference. Another thing you could do is get faster drying resin to make up for the temperature
