Can I link and sync my '58 Bigtwin WITHOUT removing flywheel?

Been searching the whole "sync and link" thing (had a manual emailed to me by a 'friend', but pics are blurry). Can I adjust the throttle cam WITHOUT having to remove the fly wheel?
Are there inspection holes in the flywheel that will allow me to get to the retaining screws. My motor isn't at my house, so I can't just go out back and check it out.

You do not have to remove the flywheel to adjust the linkages, but you will have to have a right angle screwdriver to get at the cam mounting/adjustment screws on the bottom of the armature plate.

Mine 35.7 cubic inch engine (same block) has 2 small 5/16" bolts holding the cam on tight. They are very awkward to reach and turn, but it is doable from underneath.

Wait, my mistake, the '58 was the bigger block. The '56 and earlier big twins were 35.7 cu in. So I'm not sure on yours.
