can I pull a tuber?

Hi guys, Im just wondering if I really have the power to pull a tuber. I have a 66 14ft Glastron V-142 with a 1966 50 HP Merc 500. The boat weighs 550lbs. Do you guys think I can pull a tuber that wieghs 200lbs or less? Me, a spotter and the tuber only. Thanks.

You should be able to pull a tuber. You should also be able to pull a light water skiier.
