Can I put a tach on an 83 7.5 Johnson?

I was wondering if it is possible to put a tachometer on a 83 7.5 hp 2 cylinder Johnson. If so where do you find one. Just wanting to see what the moter is turning over at various times while I'm running it?<br /><br />Any thoughts or comments appreciated.<br /><br />Jim

Do a search for Tiny-Tach. I have used one for a multi cylinder application and it works good for me.<br />If you decide to use a Tiny-Tach just make sure you get the right version for your engine, their tech support seemed really helpful, and can surely help you to pick the right one.<br /><br />//Per
