Can I take an outboard powerhead and put it on my jet drive?

I have been going over the forums here, and there are tons of people who are very knowledgable people here, so hopefully you will find these easy to answer.
I bought a 1994 Four Winns Fling project boat. It had one bad cylinder. There is some scarring on the wall, and I plan on honing it out and replacing all 4 rings.
The guy I bought it from told me that all parts could be replaced with OMC 115 outboard motor parts, and gave me a 115 HP Evinrude outboard with the boat to complete the sale. The outboard had great compression and looked real good. When I tore it down, though, the pistons seem to be .25 smaller than the ones in my powerhead, and I think it is probably a early to mid 70s version. Are there any guidelines that you can give for what years of 115 outboards will be interchangeable with this?
Second question, where do I find the model numbers for the powerhead to order new rings for it?
Lastly, I was told that the engine blew one cylinder because the oil injection stopped working. Any disadvantage to disconnecting the injector and premixing my gas and oil, other than the hassle?

Can I take an outboard powerhead and put it on my jet drive?

So I got a 115 HP Evinrude outdrive to take apart and fix my Turbojet on my 1994 Four Winns Fling, and the pistons are a different size. Someone already answered my last question and may be right, they may have been bored once already. So here's another good question.

Can I take the powerhead from the 115 Evinrude outboard and put it on my jet drive and use it? I know that the wiring is different, so I will have to figure that out. Also, the shaft for the jet drive is different, so I will have to swap out the crank. Can this be done? I am not worried about the carb being different, because I plan on premixing gas. Any info would be helpful.

Thanks.
