I'd say get a reinforced roof rack and electric winch. load that boat on your roof! There is a commercial system to load jet skis into a truck bed, basically a ramp/roller system with a winch at the end. no reason it wouldn't for a small boat.

(I'm not saying it is a good idea, or that the roof wouldn't collapse, or that your picture would end up in the SHT section.)

I'd second the trailer idea. You can find 20 foot flatbeds for under $1000 used if you look around, depending on your area at least. That should be plenty for what you are needing, I'm guessing the tongue of the boat could either go beside or under the camper.

Kinda looks like your either maken two trips. Or have two tow vehicles. I know I wouldnt even want to be traveling in the same direction. with all that tied together. Have you concidered a camper that slides in the truck box and then tow the boat behind it? thats what the wife and I used to do. Now she only camps at the holiday inn:D

Holiday Inn,lol. My wife loves camping,I know some women do not including our daughter. No it would not even be a option.I do not have a pickup and we really like the old TD Camper. Its a classic and easy to pull.I can pull it with my Isuzu and driving sanely as I do we can still get around 22 pulling it.We are just going to rely on friends who go with us camping. If they cannot pull the boat it will sit home all by its lonely self...Bruce

there is nothing at all wrong with towing two bumper hitch trailers..... the problem comes from towing two small (short wheelbase) trailers.......

This is one of the best observations posted on this thread. The single trailer for both to transport is a good idea too.

what i would do is get a truck and camper this way you can tow your boat and campers are really comfortable + dont require insurance not sure about your state. much better way to camp imo

People don't travel in 1940s teardrops to be comfortable or convenient- although they are. He is using the teardrop for the same reason that it is fun to do a long-distance trip with an old VW Beetle.:D:cool:

Dual bumper hitch towing of more than one trailer is not at all recommended. Doesn't mean it isn't done.
The Dual trailer setup seen out there are 5th wheel on primary tow vehicle to bumper on secondary trailer. I would not do it, under any circumstances.

Like smokeonthewater and ezmobee alluded to, it is not that dbl towing is intrinsically unsafe, just the combo of those trailers and that tow vehicle are not recommended.
