I have a 1993 Johnson 120 and last year the alarms started going off. I realize that it could be the oil injection or cooling system causing the alarm.
If after some diagnosis work it turns out to be a VRO problem, is it OK to run this engine on a 50:1 premix? If so, what has to be disabled to allow us to use the boat? At this time of year, I don't think my mechanic can get to it in a reasonable time, so this would be just until he can get it it his shop for a complete test session. Just to clarify, I think this motor is the wide angle V and I think they call it a "looper".
Thanks, you've always been very helpful in the past!
