Can I use these controls with my 120?

Hey everyone. Just swapped out a Ford 2.3 for my mercruiser 120 in a bayliner Capri. I need to get merc throttle and shift cables and I was hoping I could use these controls? Any advice? Thanks!

that was the omc version and you went to merc? cables may work as is

Cables won't they don't have the brass barrels on the ends that need to hook up into my transom plate or throttle linkage. I wish they did. If I get merc cables will the ends with that go into the control box be the same? Are they a generic end?

from what i see in the catalog the merc and omc control box ends are the same ,so merc cables should fit that control box
The engine side ends are whats different

That's what I am hoping for I would like to not have to take out the newer controls on the capri..
