can I use these powerheads to replace mine?Merc 650

I have a Mercury 650 serial#:4140468 i need a new head...the top of the middle cylinder is blown off mine.....i have found 2 powerheads serials:3150137 & 2506526 I don't think these will work with the motor i currently have but wanted to see if anyone with more knowledge than me on the issue would know for sure.

From the serial posted you a have a 3 cylinder 65 as the others are 4 cyinder 65.

Yea I guess I should have checked the obvious first! None out there has a 3cyl merc 650 head just laying around they want to get rid of do they?

You want a bolt on and go or one you can freshen up?

everything on my merc 650 is good with exception of the engine block.... would be nice to find a cheap block so i can replace my broken one and have a working outboard. if I were to buy antoher working outboard I would probably go a bit bigger
