can i use this trim gauge for my 1982 Johnson 90 hp outboard? does anybody have instructions or video for how to install this trim gauge?

Does your motor have a trim sender to drive the gauge? Not all motors with trim have a sender.

I am not sure? I know the trim sender cable is from the trim motor to the dash board under the instrument panel. I will have to check it tomorrow. My motor is a 1982 Johnson 90 hp

No you can't. The label on the side of the package indicates this is for a Merc, Yamaha engine. These work exactly backward from the Johnson, Evinrude, Suzuki trim gauges. Up is down, down is up.

Fwiw that motor should have a factory trim sending unit. Inboard of the port motor bracket.
