Input - 12 Volts, 25 Amps maximum draw (300 watts)
Darren, This is From Your Link.........

I'd like to Know, Just How are you going to get This Kind of Power from a 10amp Tail Light Circuit ?????????

Nothing Here is Holier Than Thou...........

More Educated,...... Maybe.......... ;)
Been There, Done That,........... Ayuh,... Lots of That Here........ :D

The entertainment value from post's like this are priceless. :D If the warmest temperature you are going to see in a day is 40 degrees...here's some advice...STAY HOME. It ain't worth it. Right now in upstate NY we are ice fishing ;)

I agree with Bondo...how hard is it to drain your block and manifolds? People who try to heat their engine compartments with 12v heaters are just LAZY. Why do people have to over engineer everything?

I dont see why this wouldn't work to keep the motor above 32 degrees. But I would bet don knows why this would not work.
I Bet You're Right...........

You Can't Run a 25Amp Accessory off a 10amp Circuit........
When you Do Try It,
You Hopefully Just Blow the Fuse.....
Or, You Start a FIRE,+ It Could be AnyWhere between the Accessory,+ the Battery.................
Boom ....... No Boat,+ No Tow..............

KISS Engineering................
Drain It........ No Issues.......

Yea, I know why it won't work. Even if you had all the batteries in the world sitting right next to that heater, they don't put out enough heat to keep an engine from freezing if it's 20° or less outside and you are driving down the road. They just barely have enough heat output to keep a windshieled defogged when it's above freezing.
