I got an old Evanrude motor it is big and red and white
These were the model and serial numbers. 505220 and 01554
Does any body know what year this is and what the motor is called?
I think it said power flight or something like that on the cover. I am not sure.

I think this motor can be rebuilt I read the post on awaking a sleeping outboard. I just do not know what manual to buy. can sombody tell me what the proper manual is and can I get it on Iboats?
thankx

A 50522 is a 1960 Evinrude 75hp Starflite. Not sure of the extra last digit on the model number, probably was a mid season change or something.

It should look like the attached.

Thank you all for the help and for the photos. It does look very similar to that one. do you think that iboats would have that model year manual?
