1989 model...and 50:1 on the oil, TC-W3 rated.

thanks for the info, how do you find info like that? on the internet? would love to know about this motor. just bought it on saturday. is it considered a long shaft? the guy i bought it from swears its a short shaft it seams to long for my small 16ft fishing boat. thanks for any and all help out there...

L = Longshaft 20"
CE = 89 (year)
M = Model run Suffix with no meaning

I have essentially the same motor as you, only mine is a year oltder and is rope start with a std shaft. It is a GREAT motor. Nice power, very smooth, and very dependable.
