Just got and it is a 16ft fiberglass hull and is registered as a 1979 Stur..... Bill of sale says it's a SturCraft ?? Can't find anything about that mfgr. I'ts not a John Dory but looks like one. Anyway, going to do a complete restoration on it. Don

Steury was a popular manufacturer, and they existed in that timeframe. Maybe it is abbreviated Stur?

I have no idea if they built that boat. There seems to be an emblem on the port rear. Does it say anything.

You could go on NADA and look at all the boat manufacturer names that start with Stur

Re: Can someone ID this skiff

good find! Will you be using it on the seaside?

Chesapeake Bay and surrounding inlets etc. I need to convert the transom back to a 20" as someone cut the dickens out of it to hang the 15" short shaft Merc on it. Now I will also need to get a 20" motor or see about converting the one I have.......

9" of snow yesterday so no work on it until it all melts. This one is an outside project !

Don

ah, now i see your VaB ID; I was looking at the DE on the boat. That one will be a blast to scoot out Rudee Inlet to the ocean and run up and down the beaches. This summer, that is.
