Can someone post a picture???

New Humminbird 525 buddy put on boat I just bought from him. Transducer is mounted on back of boat. It works right when running down the lake, but when fishing it will show depth right & then sometimes is will go to 1ft. for no apparent reason. It is mounted on a Sprint 255 at the back of the boat. I moved it up a little & it works good when running down the lake now , but still acts up when fishing sometimes. Before it was throwing water when running down the lake, now it doesn,t. I would like to know exactly where to mount it to get it to work right when fishing. Thanks

Is there an anchor line, stern rope or anything else in the way? Weeds and really anything will do what you described. My Humminbird actually just stopped showing the temp for no apparent reason

Huron Angler, No the only thing on the back of mine is the speedometer which is mounted to the left side of my transducer. When it's working right it works great & just does this for no apparent reason whether using the trolling motor or not. It is on it's own circuit also so there should'nt be any interference from anything else.
