Can these props be salvaged?

Some may remember my thread a few weeks ago about purchasing a '95 Cobalt 220. Well, I got it with bad props so I ordered a set of B6 (aluminum) props for the Volvo Penta DuoProp drive and I put those on today successfully (with only a minimum of swearing).

Here are the old props. I'm told that a good prop guy can perform miracles, but not sure if these are in the realm of salvageable or not. They are also B6 aluminums. So, take them for rebuild and use them as spares or chuck 'em in the garbage? What say ye, iBoats braintrust?

The one on the left looks like it could be, on the right time for you to give it, it's last rights.

I have seen prop repair places work some wonders... But with props like the one on the right, you are past the point of sanity when trying to repair it; its just time for replacement. Even if it could be repaired, the bill would probably approach the price of buying a new one.

I would do as woody suggests; dig a hole and bury it.

Their both aluminum, first easy rebuild by the prop shops, and the second one place in your aluminum can recycle.

Take it in to a shop and see what they say. The duo props work great but are real pricey. You know what new ones cost, see what rebuilding will cost.
