On the same show, they are selling a Diesel fuel polisher. This is a self contained pump/filter that uses magnet and fuel "swirling" technologies to keep older diesel fresh and clean up low quality diesel. It draws diesel from the tank, polishes it up and returns it to the tank. The host says "if you have diesels, you gotta have a fuel polisher".

Good idea or snake oil?

nothing new. I have a unit I built 15 years ago and use to this day. The fuel spinner went out 3 years ago, so I removed it and just use the filter/ water separator. I used to clean fuel tanks on boats and heavy equipment. After cleaning just add some fuel stabilizer and mix in fresh fuel and your good to go. The "magnets" are the joke.
