Personally I'd go get your boat ASAP. If he's not fixed it then he hasn't done the job therefore don't pay him. A good friend of mine had this problem with a VW trike, garage couldnt fix his problem and tried to charge him storage AND labour... 8 of us went down there and lifted it over the barriers and told them if they had a problem then sue... that was nearly 500kg-not much different to a boat... Funnily enough he never heard from them again...

the best thing to do is take a couple of friends with you to get your boat back. after checking your engine for parts replaced or missing,then check for trim operation, when it comes to the matter of paying this guy for treating you so bad and causing a real headache,ask for your old motor back ,if he dont give it to you introduce to your 2 friends smith and wesson . you just might get a good deal after all

dude ,<br /> take it to bps, an hour on the road and a few more bucks is better than 2 mo. without you might find some more fishn holes on the way

Don't have anything to say about the hydraulic pump or ram, but you didn't save much on the motor from him. You could have taken it to a bigger shopfor about the same price.

Hang out at his shop as much as you can mingle with his other customers . have cooler full of cold ones . He will be glad to get you and your boat out of there ;or you'll become drinking buddies. It often becomes more expensive and time comsuming to sue I hope that the relationship has not come down to that. By the way pointing a gun in fla will get an automatic 10 years.
