Can you help me find out what year this logo is from?

Fellow Smoker Craft owner's, I recently acquired a older Smoker Craft boat. I plan on completely revamping this boat right down to the metal. However I don't know where to look for info on the year, make and model. The boat is about 12 feet long, it has a on piece window shield, the bow is covered. The boat has a wooden dash and the steering wheel is on the left side of the boat.
I plan on digging into the boat this coming weekend to see if I can find a production number. But I was hoping someone could look at this logo and give me a ballpark.

Look on the back of the boat,there should be a metal strip on the upper far right part of the transom. The info on when the boat was made and how old it is ,is on the metal strip. Write the info down and give the factory in Indiana a call,they will surely help you out. LDJ
