Re: Can you ID this FISH?

Hello all this is my first post. Just getting back into boating took time off for the family and the fact that three kids me and the wife was to much for my seanyph. Kids being very young anyway. Recently got my Evinrude 25hp tuned up, new water pump, lower unit oil and carb cleaned. Any way back to that fish I used to fish alot with my gramps in Bpt,Ct harbor and I remember catching an ugly fish like that. If I remember he called it a sea robin and the fish actually barked when out of the water and had very sharp fin points. Now do they make it as far as Florida I don't know. Well any way hello to all and I'll post again when I can add anything:)

I use to catch these fish all the time in South Africa, they call them Klip Fish, (Rock Fish) they were a Nucense, when you would get into a group of them you would catch hundreds would catch much larger specimens and they come in many different colors. No danger in any of the spikes, you can touch them, they are slimy though. I looked like you were afraid to touch it.

Hope this helps!!!!
