Hi guys,

Please Identify the Hose that leads up to the top cylinder and goes into the engine block with the brass fitting.

The hose exits the engine bracket by the throttle cable and has a plastic fitting I have never seen before. It has a type of pressure collar that moves when you press down on

I bought this boat last summer and didnt use it much and when I did I was too busy fishing and tubing to pay much attention to this part. I always flushed using ears, but I think this part is to possibly flush the engine? The guy I bought the boat from said he always flushed the boat with a large beer keg bin filled with water. Please advise me on what this is and and how to possibly use this.

Thanks for looking at the post and I appreciate your input.

Gerry,

Thank you again for your insight...off to west marine to find the attachment from hose to Mercury Flush Line. I appreciate your input!
