Hey Folks,
We just bought this boat. We were told it is a 1986 Sun Runner 310SB or Sunbridge. I am having trouble finding any info on this particular model. No pictures on google match this boat. The windows on the side dont match. Maybe it is a mismeasured 29ft. boat? It also has twin AQ260/290s Single props in it. I am just trying to get some specific specs and info on it.
It is docked in Mattituck Inlet on Long Island but we will be transporting it to the Ohio River Lighthouse Point Yacht Club near Cincinnati. Wanted to know how tall it is, does the arch have to come off for transport. How much does it weigh.

Thanks for any assistance

Regards,

Kevin and Tatyana

NADA lists it as 9300lbs w a 11.5ft beam, but I didnt find any info about height. Which also depends on how high it rides on the trailer.

I'd certainly consider removing the arch, if only to minimize the risk of damage.

Note: I don't know if thats ^^^ simple, easy or possible.

Who's transporting it?

Yes, I was thinking the same thing, if for nothing else but to make the Shrink wrap easier.
I havent found a transporter yet, recommendations?

So, what is it? a 310SB or 290SB or what?

Thanks,

Kevin

It has a HIN, the boat equal to a vin on car and it should have a title or registration. They should list a model.

If you cant find matching boats that are listed as a 310sb maybe its not.

Before you find a transporter, you'll need to confirm it does or doesnt come w a trailer. But no, no recommendations on a boat that big.

Its coming from a marina to a marina, I'd be inclined to try and find someone taking a load to or from somewhere close to either the pickup or drop off locations. Else you may be paying both ways, even of only 'need' towed 1way.

Thanks, I do have the HIN and ran a Boatfax on it.
The boat comes up clean but only says Sunrunner on it. The current registration says it is 29 Ft. Which is what I thought, but the seller said his owners manual says 310SB. Thats where the confusion comes in.
Anyway, it doesnt have a trailer, I know that.
I think I have a transporter lined up. Yes, Marina to Marina. Since I am not in a hurry, I will probably be a load for him coming back from the east coast which would reduce the costs.
Cheers,
Kevin

Well, the identity of the model of the boat remains a mystery. I have searched google images and cannot find another one that matches ours inside and out.
Anyway, the boat was pulled on August 7th. We had her powerwashed and scraped. the bottom looks great, the outdrives are a mess, but I will take care of that. She is on a transport trailer awaiting the trip to Cincinnati next week or so.
It cost right around $3000. John at Lighthouse Marine Sevices of Southhold, New York is transporting.

Looking for a replacement Onan 6.5Kw generator and I am rebuilding the outdrives before she goes back in the water.

Thanks,

Kevin

Glad to have helped and best of luck with her. Should be a nice boat for cruising on the Ohio.

Thank you again. I was able to find multiple pictures of the 84 and 85 model. What is puzzling is my Hull ID says 86. Maybe one of the last of the 85 hulls stamped in early 86? Dont know. Anyway, i have to fix the port outdrive. no propulsion.
I will be a regular on here as you folks are a real asset on these older boats.

Sail safe!

Kevin
