I'm not sure about yours, but most tiller steer engines can be rigged for remote controls. With old style cable steering, you might could rig it to be able to use either it or the tiller depending on where you were sitting at the time. <br />You'd probably have to give up throttle/shift features on the tiller, but it'd be good for put-putting around or trolling maybe. <br /><br />Also,<br />You should see some sort of hole on the front for a bracket to accept the steering attachment gear, and probably a plugged hole in the cowling near the bottom front for a throttle and shift cable to pass through. <br /><br />If not, it probably will need a different lower cowl 'pan' I guess you'd call it that engine cover attaches to.<br /><br />Even if you have to go that route, the pan shouldn't cost too much. But they probably didn't change much more than the pan for a tiller or remote steering if the engine was offered either way from the factory.
