ive been rigging and working on boats for the better part of 35yrs and was trained many yrs ago actually I think it was when they first hit the market way back when that when you install a water seperator fuel filter you are supp to mount the filter array, tank filter then primer bulb, then to motor, now this got me to thinking with this really bad gas were getting now days the fuel lines and filters are e-10 rated but I have not seen or have a e-10 rated fuel primer ball, what would the problem be if any to mounting the ball before the filter that way if your ball goes south the filter will have a chance to get the crud before it hits you expensive motor filters, has anyone ever run the ball before the water seperator and if so how did it work
