Trying to remove a stuck prop shaft housing from a m15a, I used to much force and broke the facial from the housing. It broke pretty clean and I think I can have it welded back together. It looks like aluminium.
Does anyone know what method of welding would be best. MIG or TIG or is there a specific aluminium welder.
It needs to be done right the first time cause I cant seem to find replacement parts for such an old motor.

It's a high strength aluminum alloy, and could possibly be welded. Your welding shop will know the techniques that they are most comfortable using. Even old-fashioned heli-arc would work. The metal must be very very clean first.

Don't dump too much money into that motor, as parts will be very difficult to source.
